We're Proud Richard's Restaurant and we've been an American restaurant here in Jacksonville, IL since 2021. We offer a wide variety of dishes, including our famous burgers and seasonal menu. We are proud to serve you a locally-sourced menu that is sure to please your palette. Our team works hard every day to provide you with the finest dining experience possible. So so glad we went there for a special dinner! The servicer was efficient, jet not too much. The apps were way better then we expected: Bruschetta was flavorful and tasty. And we took the L eft over honey butter home with us! Our main course of salmon and steak were superb. We'll be back sooner rather than later. Bottles of wine was reasonable price.

Food was fantastic! Pork chop, tomatoe soup, fish, ceasar salad Presentation is fancy. Dinning areas are a little more spread out and less noisy then most restaurants. Service was great. To me food is worth a dedicated drive from ~3 hrs as restaurant as destination to work trip around.

The restaurant is in an old train station by the railroad tracks. There's some outside seating. They have a well stocked bar and have some fun drinks. The food was excellent and the service good. I would recommend it for a nice date or special occasion.
