We're Proud Richard's Restaurant and we've been an American restaurant here in Jacksonville, IL since 2021. We offer a wide variety of dishes, including our famous burgers and seasonal menu. This is the best meal I've ever had in Central Illinois! Everything we ate, from the crab dip to the blackened catfish with polenta to the short rib pappardelle to the chocolate cheesecake, was phenomenal! After living in Chicago, NY, and Houston, all of which are fantastic food cities, and being a foodie myself who loves cooking, this place can hold its own against almost anywhere.

Sorry no pictures! I forgot to take pictures the food was AMAZING! I had the French Onion soup, probably one of the best I have had. Super flavorful, I got the cup, I should have gotten the bowl. 😉. Then I had the roasted beet salad with grilled chicken. Yes I ate the whole thing, It had goat cheese and toasted bread crumbs. Yes I had to have the Lemon Dream bar as dessert. The service was great, the staff answered all my questions. Love this place, great decor and awesome bar! 5 stars all around.
